Dr Marcelo Matias is a Doctor of Counselling Psychology, accredited psychotherapist (MBACP Accred), and clinical supervisor with experience working across charitable organisations, private practice, and academic settings. His therapeutic work is informed by Existentialism and Gestalt Therapy, and he supports individuals and couples navigating burnout, workplace stress, identity questions, relationship difficulties, and emotionally demanding life transitions.

Dr Marcelo offers a reflective and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences with care and honesty. His work aims to help people develop greater clarity, reconnect with a sense of agency, understand recurring patterns, and find more meaningful ways of responding to the challenges they are facing.

Originally from Brazil, Dr Marcelo also understands from personal experience some of the challenges involved in studying, training, and building a life in the UK.

Sessions are available online or in- person.

• Individual psychotherapy: 50 minutes, £100.
  Weekly sessions are generally recommended.

• Individual EMDR therapy: 90 minutes, £180.
  Alternative session arrangements can be discussed where appropriate.

• Couples psychotherapy: 50 minutes, £130.
  Weekly sessions are generally recommended.
